The brief


To design and build a website that would quickly build brand recognition within a competitive marketplace, despite a limited portfolio of clients and testimonials.

The solution


Our design includes visual cues that help to provide immediate familiarity with a hitherto unknown brand, including luggage tags to match those used on the brand's jars of preserve and chutney and a rough-hewn timber backdrop that echoes its rustic serving boards. We also selected web fonts which reflected the friendly elegance of the logo while being easy to read and sure to reproduce well across various different types of web browser.

A responsive design ensures that the website is accessible and fun to use on all types of web browser, while a bespoke integration with Instagram allows automatic image updates to the website via mobile devices without having to log in — perfect for busy business owners who are always on the move.
